Info Post
(Ed.'s Note: The revelations in the Valley Morning Star article by Emma Perez-Treviño regarding the supplement filed by federal prosecutors in the Armando Villalobos case regarding an alleged $1,000 payment by convicted drug dealer Justin Ramos to then-special prosecutor David Sanchez so he would not oppose his case for expungement of previous convictions has drawn a wide array of comments. Below are a sample, although not all, by any means. We have rejected some that contain accusations not yet borne by the facts.)

1. Both Judge Dan and County Commissioner David Sanchez had a "travelling" relationship with Judge "Disable" Limas. Both of the Sanchez behemoths took in Spurs games and visited Las Vegas with Limas....and probably not on their dime. When the Sanchez bothers arrived here from law school, they made statements that they wanted to be in politics....and they are in the middle of it and seem to be a part of Cameron County corruption. They must have rolled over to the Dumbokratic Party way of doing business....and when they roll over, that's a lot of pork rolling over. Both Dan and David should resign from office. But of course they will not, they will force the taxpayers to foot the bill for them to go down in glory.

2. It is no secret that Cameron County has one of the most corrupt court systems. It is a shame that these judges and attorneys claim to be on the side of justice when in all actuality they are only there to further their own personal agendas and increase their bank accounts. Families suffer while Judges like Sanchez and the attorneys working in the family courts claim they have the best interests of the children at heart. Judge Sanchez presided over a child custody dispute where the evidence was overwhelmingly in favor of the mother and even the opposing council said they could find no fault in her to prove the kids should not be with the mother, but allowed a ruling against the mother removing the children and naming the father sole managing conservator. Judge Sanchez prevented the children involved from testifying in the case even though the children made it clear to him in his chambers that they all wished to live with their mother. He even awarded the guardian ad litem, Ruth Gomez Serra, over $11,000.00, even after she openly admitted on the stand, under oath that she did not fulfill her duties and never took any time to gather any facts about the case or the parties involved. The ruling in this case was not based on the facts and evidence presented. This ruling was reached because of backroom deals and using influence to further peoples' political agendas. So, I ask you. How is it okay for these people to continue to dictate and destroy people's lives? Justice does not exist in Cameron County unless you have the money to pay for it. The rest of us hard working, honest people suffer the consequences of their selfish behavior.

Well guess what everyone because of him n Gloria M. Rincones my children were taken away. Its messed up that he allowed a order of removal and given to a father with criminal history. Its outrageous!!!! Especially when the bailiff has ties to the 357th  Judge

5, Anonymous said...He is a disgrace. Plays with his phone while people tell their personal stories and doesn't listen to them. Has to have reporter read back testimony when asked to rule because he's distracted with his texts or whatever. If this $1,000 bribe is true hope they kick him off the bench if they don't indict him. His mug is now the poster child for Cameron County court corruption. Disgraceful man.
