CHEEZMEH NOW RUNNING FOR LOCAL IMMIGRATION LAWYERS?

It's bad enough that Erasmo Castro and his sister Linda Dragustinovis have already been named in two lawsuits charging that they have engaged in a continuing criminal enterprise (RICO) using their notary public business and posing as certified immigration assistants, but now they are actively using their web site to solicit legal referrals.

The post below, ostensibly a sort of Craiglist for legal immigration assistance, is really nothing more than an attempt to generate funds from legal referrals after gullible clients seek more info and get snared through private messaging and get reeled in.

In local ambulance-chasing parlance it's called "running" for chosen attorneys.

We can almost guarantee you that one of the attorneys that won;t be recommended will be Darlene Dougherty, one of the top-notch immigration legal eagles in Brownsville, but las, the lawyer who sued the pair and a handful of their relatives in federal court under the RICO statute.

It is said that the wicked never rest, and that applies to the Cheezmeh bunch in spades. If it's not this benefit or another, a fundraiser for this and a fundraiser for that, all controlled by le Gran Fromage Erasmus, the gimmicks never seem to stop.

Even at their Christmas party, the groups was selling table dances and the suckers were lining up to pay.

It's not difficult to see that the group seeks to benefit personally from this "public service announcement" recommending legal immigration services. But they should be aware that there are laws that govern this sort of thing. Not that the legal niceties ever impeded this group. The documents at federal court will attest to that as will the criminal files in local district courts.

As usual, the rule of thumb here is buyer beware. The Cheezmeh is running riot.
